The following morning I went to Mr. McCarthy’s office and requested to review the files, only to find that I was not losing my mind and did not have to make an appointment with my doctor for fear of memory loss. The pre-approved number was 45, not 75.
I would like to thank John McCarthy for clearing this matter up, for all the citizens who were concerned.
I would like for the people to understand that my position is rot against a school, only its location. Our roads cannot handle the volume of traffic in the area of consideration.
Another concern is the environmental impact on the rural countryside. How many people will lose their wells in the drought already predicted for the spring and summer of 2000? There are a great number of issues that need to be discussed and looked at before rushing into approval of Mr. Maazel’s request.
I am concerned for our neighborhood.
