The Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad’s annual Miss Rappahannock Pageant will be held on April 15 at 6:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Elementary School auditorium. Registration will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 9 with rehearsal beginning at 2:30 p.m. This is a major fund raising activity for the Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad.

The pageant is open to all single female residents of Rappahannock, ages 2 to 19, in the following categories: Tiny Tot Miss Rappahannock (ages two to four), Wee Miss Rappahannock (ages five to seven), Little Miss Rappahannock (ages eight to 11), Junior Miss Rappahannock (ages 12 to 15), Little Mister (ages two to six), Sisters (ages two to 19) and Miss Rappahannock 2000 (ages 1619). There will also be a Mother/Daughter category.

All judges will be non- residents of Rappahannock County. Judges decisions are final. In each age group, an extra category is available allowing participation through photographs with an additional $10 entry fee. The Miss/Mr. Photogenic category requires only a photograph to be submitted at
