I- Ball season is getting ready to start at full speed. The Rappahannock Athletic Association needs your support. The girls need a softball field and did you know " that a Babe Ruth Umpire costs $115 per \ game? The RAA is one of the only groups in Rappahannock that is devoted to the ' children. I spoke with AmissviUe’s expert gardener Mr. Jim Phillips. You can put in your potatoes, onions and peas now. For your gardening needs Hockley's Store has a plentiful supply.
If there is any particular kind of item that you want, give them a call so they can order them for you. And Mr. Jim is available almost every morning on the porch at Hackley’s with tips if you need them. You may have to take some advice from Hazel too! ^ ,5
