Two motor vehicle accidents were investigated recently by the Virginia State Police. On March 13, a 16 year old student driver received minor injuries when she lost control of her 1991 Ford on Rt. 707 near Sperryville. The young driver was eastbound at about 11 a.m. when she rounded a curve and encountered another vehicle going the opposite direction. She swerved to the right to avoid the approaching vehicle, leaving the road and striking an embankment. Her vehicle received an estimated $4500 in damage; no charges were placed.
