Building is moving along on the Baptist parsonage at Woodville, being built by the Mt. Lebanon and Woodville churches. Members of the building committee are encouraged by the progress. Mrs. Lily O’B. Barber, a member of the committee, reports that she received a substantial gift from R.W. Miller this week accompanied by the wish to be of more assistance in the future should funds run low. An auction of farm machinery and several ricks of hay was held at the E.M. Schwartz farm, known as “Rosewood” on March 18. The sale was managed by Charles H. Estes to whom the property was recently sold and J.B. Johnson was auctioneer. All of the farm machinery and hay was sold at a fairly good price.
