WCDS Auction 2000 set
Wakefield Country Day School invites the community to attend its fund raising auction on March 31 at Fauquier Springs Country Club in Warrenton. Over 150 items have been collected from parents, students and friends of the school for the event.
The evening begins with the silent auction from 6:30-8 p.m. Dinner follows at 8 with music by talented WCDS parents Tom and Lorraine Espinola, and a live auction of about 20 items follows at 9 p.m. Dinner reservations are $25 per person and can be made by calling the school at 635-8555.

Come find out Thursday, April 13, 7p.m. at Rappahannock High School when public education.com presents three panelists to give us a look into the future. Come hear some new thinking about teaching and learning, about academics and vocational education and how school funding can be met. Following a 45minute panel there will be workshops for group discussion and community in-put.
Headwaters and the Rappahannock PTO will provide a lasagna supper in the high school cafeteria from 5:30 to 6:45 preceding the panel. Dance at Flint Hill
A dance will be held at the Flint Hill fire hall on April 1 from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m. Music will be provided by Southern Persuasion. Cost is $20 for couples or $12 single. For more information call Connie Huff-Harris at 675-3389.
CD release party, dinner set
Come join Debbie Zinn and Jake Butler's new CD release party at the Salem Volunteer Fire Department on Saturday, April 1 from 7 until 10 p.m. Dinner will be served by the Salem Volunteer Fire Department. “Please come and enjoy the fun,” said a spokesperson.
