His instruction takes many forms including daily demonstrations, critiques, and individual instruction at each student’s easel. Fleming studied at The Maryland Institute of Design and has a B.A. from Old Dominion University.
Working from a live model students will be instructed in the use of gestural representation and expressive brush work as well as the painting components described above.
The workshop will be held in the teaching studio at Shimmering Meadows Farm Studio located in Slate Mills and will begin on Friday, March 24 and run through Monday, March 27 with painting from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day. This workshop is designed for all painting levels.
