Rosco P. Coltrane, the one and only sheriff of Hazzard County, is coming back to Cooter’s Place in Sperryville, Rosco, also known as actor James Best, will be at the Rappahannock County entertainment stop on Saturday, June 17 and Sunday, June 18 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Ben (Cooter) Jones, the proprietor of the Dukes of Hazzard theme store says , that Rosco’s appearance last season was such a hit that a return visit was needed. “The old cow pasture was full of cars all weekend,” according to Jones. “Rosco is a beloved character of Americana.”
Cooter’s Place will also feature free Country and Blue Grass music on both days with Cooter’s Garage Band and several guest musicians.
