Robert Chrisman

Chester Gap resident

Robert H. “Bobby” Chrisman, 63, of Chester Gap died Monday, June 5 in the Winchester Medical Center.

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, June 8 at Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal by Rev. Jimmy Burke.

Interment followed in Panorama Memorial Gardens at Waterlick with full military honors provided by the Shenandoah American Legion Post 77.

Mr. Chrisman was born April 2, 1937 in Luray, son of Mary Elizabeth Chrisman.

He was a United States Army veteran, was employed with Wines Construction for over 40 years and was a member of the Chester Gap Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Judy Wines Chrisman of Chester Gap; three sons, Shane A. Foster of Chester Gap, Davy Foster and Joey McLendon, both of Front Royal; two daughters, Bonnie Wilson of Front Royal and Cassie Stoudenmire of Richmond; a brother, J.L. “Chris Chrisman of Front Royal and seven grandchildren.
