A resident of Hunter Avenue called at about 9:30 p.m. on June 9 to report that a widow screen on her house had been cut near the latch.
However, after Dep. Mark Currence investigated, it was determined that there was no entry to the home, and that nothing had been taken.
“I believe that this burglary attempt is connected with others reported in the area recently, and we have identified a suspect,” said Sherertz.
