Program set

for students

The Headwaters Foundation is sponsoring ' weekly summertime adventures for rising seventh through tenth graders who are Rappahannock residents. “Adventures” are scheduled for Wednesdays, June 28 through July 26 and will range from a day of tubing on the Shenandoah River to a day spent tooling around museums in Washington, D.C.

As well, time will be spent exploring areas in our own backyard, a couple of hikes are planned and some local history will be explored. Transportation to programs will be provided, so a minimal fee will be required of each participant.

But in order for this program to fly we need student participants, and we need willing and energetic adult chaperones. If you are interested in being involved, or if you have questions, please call Leslie Nichols at 937-2103 or e-mail: evrgreen@mnsinc.com.
