Rappahannock News Photo/Barbara C. Wayland High winds and rain came through Sperryville late last Thursday afternoon. A large tree fell on the home of Jimmie Rankins on Sons Road just off US 211. Faith Mountain experienced some wind damage to a tent and merchandise they had set up earlier in the day for a holiday weekend sale. Other trees and branches were down at various locations throughout the town.
