we understand it was quite a day at the Culpeper Regional Hospital on Thursday when the Pierce triplets, who by the way were the first born at the hospital, returned to celebrate their second birthday. Nick, Paul and Russ are the sons of Roger and Sheri Pierce.
Kendra Hitt of Rixeyville was a recent guest of Jennifer Peregory and family on Castleton Ford Road.
Our sympathy is extended to Mrs. Shirley Wise of Reva and her brothers, Randy and Kenneth Settle and families and friends upon the passing of Mrs. Ruth Lee Settle Bruce, which occurred Aug. 22 at Orange County Nursing Home. She was the daughter of the late James E. (Jim) and Grace Settle.
Monday, Sept. 10 is a great day for several couples, namely Mr. and Mrs. Ray Frazier, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Peregory and Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Cubbage, as they celebrate wedding anniversaries and we trust the good Lord to grant them many more years together.
Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Dodson of Salem and Mr. and Mrs. W. R. Pritt and children were luncheon guests last Sunday of their father and sister, Elder Wayne Richards and Terry in Luray.
