A diverse group of people involved in the stewardship and enhancement of the water quality and natural resources of the Rappahannock River and the Chesapeake Bay attended presentations and discussions at the fourth annual Rappahannock River Basin Summit. held in Fredericksburg on Aug. 15.
The Summit was held to keep participants informed of policy and program issues facing the restoration of the Rappahannock River and implementation of the Tributary Strategy. Those attending included landowners, community members, elected officials, agency staff, and interested others.
