Opening night was a special night at the RCHS gymnasium. The banners that were won by last years’ athletic teams were unveiled in the gym during a brief ceremony.
Prior to the unveiling, the RCHS Athletic Director, talked about “.looking back to see where you were from, to get an idea of where you need to go...”
Those remarks were followed with the introduction of two former coaches from the RCHS girls’ basketball teams that won the Division 9 Championship in 1962-63.
