The wisdom of Rappahannock kids has gone global, thanks to the efforts of former art teacher and ongoing multimedia phenom Laurie Marshall, the sixty students who painted th^^C.onflict Resolution*., series, of murals in 1997', and the thousand students who contributed to “The Singing Tree* last spring.
The “Conflict Resolution" series, better known as “The ACE’s Of Conflict Resolution,* was inspired by the approach to conflict resolution developed by Martha Hardy of the Carnegie Mellon University.
The ACB’s . . . Airing the viewpoints, Clarifying the needs, and Brainstorming the solutions, are represented by three eight by eight foot murals—one for each ACB step.
