How grateful we are for the much needed rain we received this weekend.
I hope all of you enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving Day with family and friends. It was such a beautiful day, and we have so much to be thankful for, yet we remember all those who suffered such devastation on Sept. 11. Things will never be the same, so let us enjoy all the family gatherings we can.
A “Homecoming” was enjoyed at the home of the late Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Payne in Old Hollow on Friday. Six of the nine children and their families were there along with friends and cousins. The day was so warm that an outside dinner was enjoyed by all.
