• Twenty*three countries were represented, with sever* ai as last*minute additions, As the word of the event spread, Barents and students stepped forward with articles of cloth* ing, food, jewelry, and artwork flrom all over the world. Tables were set up to showcase each country, and students and par* ents in native dress highlight* ed several countries,
The food was abundant and varied; much of it pre* pared by the students them* selves,
Mrs, Meg Tiithill displayed dolls, artwork, and food from Japan, as did Hitomi Morinaga and Thkeshi Miyajima, both of whom are international students from a high school in Japan,
Mrs. Robin Purnell brought in beautifrd articles of clothing from Central Asia,
