All • Democrats in Rappahannock are invited to attend a combination Celebration Breakfast and Redrgani ration Meeting on Saturday morning, Dec. 1 beginning at 9 a m. The breakfast meeting will be at The Washington Tbwn Hall (the former Library) on Gay Strieet in Washington, Va. aiVd is sponsored by the outgoing, soon to be reorganized Rappahannock County Democratic Committee. ' In keeping with the goals of the Democratic Party of Virginia, all Democratic codnty committees are required to reorganize from bdttom to ' top every two years. During the first week of December in all odd years, a hew Democratic Committee is elected in Rappahannock by Democrats who are registered to vote here. That new Committee then elects its new officers.
With this reorganization, the local Democratic Committee is reaching out to new and former members as well as those Democrats who may be curious or just want to spend a Saturday morning with other local Democrats, savoring the successes of the past election.
