The Yale Russian Chorus has recorded a number of CDs. Chants and Carols was released internationally to critical acclaim, and in 1986

was placed on The New Yojk Times’ “Critic s Choice* list m 1996.

Mark Bailey, who holds degrees from the Eastman School of Music and Yale's School of Music, is conductor and artistic director of thje Yale Russian Chorus. He is a noted expert in Slavic sacrecl music, a topic on which he publishes and lectures.

In January 2002, Mr. Bailey will participate in the Rachmaninoff Symposium aS part of the Great Performers series at Lincoln Center. 1
