Candlelight Dinner will be held at 6 p.m. at the Washington Baptist Church. Members of the church have been designing and sewing Colonial costumes over the past several months in preparation for this evening of dinner and caroling which was sold out last year, its first year.
Later Saturday evening, there will be another performance of “The Shepherd’s Play” at 8 p.m. This play, with Rappahannock residents playing different roles, has been a tradition for the past decade. Reservations are recommended.Tickets are $15 for adults; $10 for children.
There also will be a performance of the Yale Russian Chorus at 8 p.m., across the street at The Theatre of Little Washington. Re ervations are suggested. Tickets are $15 for adults; $5 for students 18 and under.
Christmas festivities continue on Sunday. There will be a 1 p.m. lunch of Brunswick Stew at the Washington Baptist Church, performances by the Colonial Dancers, and a final performance of “The Shepherd’s Play” at 4 p.m.
