Teacher Mark Matney covered many of the events this week and puts his own spin on the stories that follow. The bottom line is the Bull Run Districts’ regular season for winter sports is over with the exception of one basketball game.
That game at Madison has no impact on post-season play for the varsity, but the junior varsity team is still in the hunt for a berth in the JV championship and that game is a “must win” for the JV Panthers.
The Varsity Volleyball team finished the season in third place and will host a quarter-final district tournament game here Wednesday, Feb. 13. The wrestlers finished their season with a home quad meet on Saturdav Feh Q
