A three day introductory workshop on “Writing Your Life Stories” is being given in Washington on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, March 8-10. The workshop is taught by Julie Portman, an Obie award winning writer and performer whose most recent play, Three Roses, was broadcast on Public Television this fall.
Ms. Portman, who lives in Rappahannock County, has been teaching Life Stories Workshops for the past six years. People in all walks of life attend - therapists, teachers, artists, retirees, government employees, people who write a lot, and people who have never written before. The workshop is for anyone who wants to begin writing their life stories or get some fresh inspiration to continue their writing.
