The Amissville United Methodist Church youth group will be ha ing their second annual lock-in on Feb. 15. For more information call Faye Smoot at 937-4885.

The Rappahannock Junior Varsity Basketball team is one game away from going to the Regional playoffs. They had a terrific game on Friday against a tough team from Clarke County.

This team has the will power and the strength to go all the way to the District Championships. Good luck this week!

The RAA last day for sign ups will be this Saturday Feb. 16 at Bill Payne's Auction House from 9 a.m. to noon. Registration this year is $40 per child, two or more in a family will receive a price break. T-ball starts at age five and they have teams all the way up to 16 in the minors, majors and Babe Ruth League’s.

Draft Day will be Saturday, March 9 at the Rappahannock Elementary School. If you have not ever been a member, you will need your birth certificate to sign up.
