The lone bright spot of the match was Jeremy Graves gaining a decision over his opponent. Haynes Houston also had a good match going and won when his opponent was disqualified.
In the second match, Loudoun Valley was also a tough opponent. Brian Brown put Rapp up 6 with a pin in the third period. Jeremy Graves also won at the 215 pound weight class with a pin in the second period but it was not enough as the Panthers lost 43-36.
In the last match of the day the Panthers squared off against Fauquier. Brown again brought the fans to their feet as he turned what appeared to be a sure defeat into a pin in the second period. The district tournament starts this Saturday at Brentsville District High. Hopefully, one of our wrestler will sneak up and win first place this week.
