PURSUANT to Section 170-129 of the Rappahannock County Code and Section 15.2-2204 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, notice is hereby given that the Board of Zoning Appeals for Rappahannock County, Virginia, will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, February 27, 2002 at seventhirty in the evening in the Courthouse in Washington, Virginia, in order to consider the following appeal:

location on Rt. 611 Seven Ponds Road
in Amissville, and otherwise treat a
brewery operation as equivalent to a
winery for zoning purposes. Property
is identified as Tax Map 32, Parcel 24,
zoned A-Agricultural, in Jackson District.
Appeal allowed under Section 170-135
of the Rappahannock County Code.
No appellant or other party in interest, and no attorney for an appellant or party in interest, shall initiate a contact with a member of the BZA for the purpose of conducting a private discussion, in person or by telephone, concerning the merits of any application, appeal, or other matter pending before the BZA. No member of the BZA shall participate in any such private discussion. Site visits or similar contacts initiated by BZA members shall not constitute such ex parte contacts.
A copy of the foregoing appeal is on file at the Zoning Office in Washington, Virginia, and is available for public inspection, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The above-named appellant, adjacent property owners, and any other parties desiring to be heard should be present at said meeting or should address their written comments to the Board of Zoning Appeals, c/o P.O. Box 519, Washington, Virginia 22747, in advance thereof.
