Although the weather was misty and rainy, forty nature enthusiasts enjoyed the Winter Nature Walk through the scenic grasslands and woodlands of Bruce and Susan Jones’ farm on Long Mountain Road. The walk on Sunday, Feb. 10, allowed the adults and children to observe chickadees, nuthatches and a lone red wing black bird (a first sighting for the year), at the many feeders surrounding the Jones' house.
