The following letter was submitted to the Washington Town Planning Commission members by the Commission’s Chair.
I am sorry that I will not be
able to attend tonight’s meeting but would still like to share my ideas about Mary Ann Kuhn’s application. I would hope some compromise could be reached concerning the proposed changes, since there are some points I agree with, while I have reservations about a number of others.
Concerning points of agreement, I have no objection to the Middleton. Inn, or another newly-designated Bed & Breakfast Inn, providing catering service. I don’t see any negative impact from this activity. I would also approve of the Inn being
