TOWN COUNCIL TOWN OF WASHINGTON, VIRGINIA Pursuant to Section 6-1-1 of the Town of Washington Zoning Ordinance and Section 15.2-2204 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, notice is hereby given that the Town Council of Washington, Virginia will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, July 10, 2002, at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall on Gay and Calvert Streets in Washington, Virginia to consider the following application: TW SU #02-06-01 The Inn at Little Washington, by their Agent Edward Fletcher, Maintenance Manager, desire a Special Use permit on their property located at 411 Main Street (Tax Map 20A-1-19, zoned ‘Village-Mixed Use’), the old Mrs. Coxes Tavern, to use three small rooms on the first floor as retail space (714 sq.ft.). The existing lighting shop is not part of the application (it is grandfathered commercial space), but counts against total square footage. Use allowed under Section 1-4-3(d) with additional standards under Section 6-1 -2(k) of the Town of Washington Zoning Ordinance. A copy of the foregoing application is on file at the Zoning Office and available for public inspection, Monday through Friday 8:30 a m. to 4:30 p.m. at 290 Gay Street, Washington, Virginia 22747.
