"fee Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors is soliciting bids from general contractors for “The Town of Sperryville Gateway Improvements Project.” The work includes fop provision of all supervision, labor, materidte and bonds for the construction of the various elements of the project, including a pedestrian bridge, sidewalk and pavement improvements, landscaping and seeding, and otier miscellaneous site improvements. !•? AD bids must be received at the County Administrator’s Office, Old Extension Office, 290 Gay Street, P.O. Box 519, Washington, VA 22747 by Friday, July 26, 2002, by 3:00 PM., at which fme they will be opened and publicly read.

A Pre-Bid Conference will be conducted in Sperryville at the on-site location of the planned pedestrian bridge on Monday, July ♦5, 2002 at 10:00 am.

Sid documents will be available on or after Monday, May 20, 2002 at the County Administrator’s Office, Old Extension Office, 290 Gay Street, P.O. Box 519, Washington, Virginia, 22747 or at the office of The Cox Company, 220 East High Street, Charlottesville, Virginia, 22902. A non-refundable $30.00 printing fee will be charged for each set of bid documents. Checks shall be made payable to 'Treasurer, Rappahannock County.”

The terms of Competitive Sealed Bidding as S?t forth in the Virginia Public Procurement Act Shall apply. The Board of Supervisors reserves fie right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. No bidder may withdraw its bid after the time set for the bid opening for a freriod of ninety days from the bid opening.
