Barbara Caroline Strong Gentry, 89, of Flint Hill died Wednesday, June 26 at her home. • Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, June 29 at Flint Hill United Methodist Church with Rev. Merlin Shorb officiating. Burial was in the Flint Hill Cemetery. J Mrs. Gentry was born Beb. 24, 1913 in Muskegon, Mich., daughter of Frederick and Blanche Loomis Strong. - She was a member of Flint Hill United Methodist Church since 1934. She served as a lay speaker with the church for 20 years and taught Sunday School for 50 years. ! Mrs. Gentry taught public school at Reager Elementary School in Huntly for eight years. She retired from the Postal Service in November 1974.
