Other activities
• Brian Duncan, Director of the Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Service Board presented the Performance Contract for the new fiscal year, and the Board agreed to act upon the contract at their August meeting.
• The Board reappointed Holly Lanigan to the Recreational Facilities Authority and Eugene Leggett to the Rappahannock County Water and Sewer Authority.
• During the Public Comments portion of the meeting, Phil Irwin asked about the disposition of the draft lighting ordinance, sent to the Board by the Planning Commission some months ago.
County Administrator John McCarthy informed him that it was tabled indefinitely, and that it would “take one or more members to bring it to the table,” but no member of the Board volunteered to do so.
