CULPEPER COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY Children’s Associate Part-time Position #: 73166 Starting Minimum Salary: $11.71 per hour This part-time position works at the children’s desk and conducts storytimes for children ages 2-3, 3-5 or older. Primary responsibility will be children’s storytimes, but must be flexible and able to adapt and grow with the position and the responsibility. Children’s storytimes include books, fingerplays, crafts and other participatory activities. Position may require one evening per week, every other Saturday and will average approximately 10 hours per week. Must have experience working with children and the public. This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or higher. Preference will be given to those applicants with a combination of experience and education in children’s services.
