• On Thursday, Nov. 6 the Rappahannock County Water and Sewer Authority will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the courthouse on Gay Street; • Flu shots will be given to the public at the Rappahannock County Health Department on Nov. 6 from 4 to 6 p.m., Nov. 12 from 1 to 3 p.m. and Nov. 18 from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Bring a Medicare card and adults at high risk should bring a Medicaid card. All others will be charged $15. • The Special Education Council for Rappahannock County public schools will meet Tuesday, Nov. 11 in the ‘elementary school library at 3:45 p.m. The agenda includes effective strategies for special needs students. Open to the public. • On Tuesday, Nov. 11, the Rappahannock County School Board will meet at 7:30 p.m. with a closed session at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Band Room of the Rappahannock County High School. • On Wednesday, Nov. 12 the Washington Town Council continues its Oct. 8 meeting at 6:45 p.m. in order to go into closed session to confer with counsel regarding the Worley case. At 7:30 p.m. the regularly scheduled council meeting will be called to order. The agenda includes recommendations from Environmental Systems Services regarding wastewater treatment. • On Thursday, Nov. 13, the Washington Architectural Review Board (ARB) will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Hall on Gay Street.
