Randy Johnson’s Minor League team played its final double header against a team from Marshall and won both games. An outstanding pitching performance was turned in by Sean “Little P “ Knick, by pitching his first complete game. Blaine Laffin, Chris Miller, Charlie Peavley and Ryan Johnson turned in strong defensive performances.

Kirby Purdom and Jared Elliot dominated on the mound for the second game and gave the Rapp minors its second win of the day. Colton Clate lead the offensive with a triple and a home run. Ryan Johnson went three for four on the day including a triple. The Minors had a record of six and eight for the season; the team really came together and learned a lot.

The Rookie team coached by Ed Lezcano, Brent Wilson and Kenner Love had its final game for the season and beat a Fauquier team from Marshall by a score of 4-0. All the players were a little cold but several prevailed to turn in some great performances.

Bobby Shuck hit a home run and catcher Gary Jenkins had a good game up until the fourth inning when a pitch hit him and he had to come out.
