When asked to what he attributes the high AP scores achieved by so many seniors from Wakefield, Headmaster Michael Vargo responded, “Our graduating class consisted of an unusually high number of exceptional students of whom we are extremely proud.
“Aside from their own personal drive for academic excellence, most of these young men and women had the added benefit of having been exposed to at least six years of Wakefield’s classical curriculum.
“I believe the emphasis we place on core subjects serves our students well, giving them a solid foundation on which they can build their academic achievements,” said Vargo.
