The Passion. Power and Promise in Your Story" is a premiere performance weaving insights about the power of story with tales inspired by remarkable events in people's lives. It is written and performed by New York Obie Award winning actress Julie Portman at Ki Theatre on Nov. 15 at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15. For tickets and more information call 540-987-3164. “The Visual Arts as Story: Discovering Stories We Make With Our Hands”— three nationally-recognized artists conduct threehour sculpting, collage and weaving workshops for a day of wonder and artistic expression on Nov. 16 from 9 a m. to 4:30 p.m. No experience is necessary. Lifecasting class
Rappahannock County High School Art teacher, Joy Sours, will teach Lifecasting on Saturday. Nov. 15 through the Adult Education Program. Lifecasting creates life-size life-like sculptures through the use of molds and plaster. Registration forms may be picked up at either the school, library or the kiosk in Washington.
