Lions Club raffle & din ner

The Rappahannock Lions Club will hold its annual "Draw Down Raffle” on Saturday, Nov. 8 at Lakeside Club in Culpeper. Tickets are $100 each which includes dinner and beverages for two, musical entertainment and a chance to win $5,000 cash. Moonlight hike

The Ragged Mountain Resource Center will resume its hiking program this fall with a moonlight hike of Old Rag on Saturday, Nov. 8. There will be a chance to observe a total eclipse of the moon. Hikers should meet at the upper parking lot trailhead on the eastern side of the mountain, just past Nethers, between 5- 5:30 p.m. Bring nourishment and layerable clothing, especially for the break time to watch the eclipse between 8-8:30 p.m. For more information contact Hunt Harris: untoldragon@ earthlink.net or phone 540-987-3366.
