In their afternoon session, the supervisors unanimously voted to adopt the six-year road plan.
The supervisors also voted unanimously for staggered terms for the Board of Supervisors and School Board members.
Although Jackson District supervisor Ronald Frazier was not present for the vote, he later said that he would have voted for staggered terms, although with reservations. “I am hesitant to change history. There is an uncertainty of what change would bring,” said Frazier.
McCarthy made known to the supervisors that the Rappahannock-Rapidan Medical Reserve Corps is asking for help during public emergencies in staffing a mass response clinic.
