Madison High School living in our area please call Freda White at 948-6298 to help plan the organizational meeting taking place this month. In memory and honor of Conner Yates here in Griffinsburg, who died last November at the age of 19 the Habitat for Humanity is Danny reports the following. “The Mills ran a classic country store operation at this location for many years. I can still visualize the old wood stove and the nice old wood counter that ran almost the length of the place, lb the left as you walked into the store, the old Estes Post Office cubicle was still in place even though the post office had been closed for many years. It never was moved and I believe the family still has it today. On the outside, under the porch, an old bench was available for one to sit and “talk” awhile.
