Times Comrpunity Newspapers is looking for a full time individual to help manage the distribution of our newspapers. This is an entry level position with opportunity for advancement after 90 days. This individual will be working with the Circulation Manger both in and out of the office as well as on his/her own. This is a hands on job where you will be handling bundles of newspapers, driving in Fairfax and Loudoun Counties (checking on service and delivering papers), and speaking with our customers. Requirements: prefer EXCEL computer experience, must be able to work with customers both on the phone and in the field, have good driving record, be able to read a map, and have own vehicle. This is a full time position with medical, 401K. and paid vacation.

Assistant Project Manager Parks, Recreation and Community Services

Position available with the Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services managing building and site infrastructure projects and capital asset replacement projects. Assists with development of facility programming and design/ construction budgets. Reviews engineering design and resolves design and construction issues. Performs construction field management and monitors contractor project documentation. Technical liaison for civil and architect resources. Applicant must have the ability to work extensively with citizens, developers and contractors, interdepartmental and multijurisdictional representatives, and have excellent engineering, construction and customer service skills. Provides administrative support' as needed to other project managers. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and at least 3 years experience in construction/project management including 6 month’s individual or team project experience.
