Regional commission
The Rappahannock-Rapidan Regional Commission will meet Wednesday, Dec. 15 from 1- 3:30 p.m. at its offices, 420 Southridge Parkway, Suite 106 in Culpeper.
Raffle drawing
A raffle drawing will be held Wednesday, Dec. 15 at the Rappahannock Senior Center, 603 Mt. Salem Avenue in Washington at 1 p.m. The 140 prizes include: $500 in cash, dinner for two at the Inn at Little Washington, many breakfasts, lunches and dinners at Rappahannock eating establishments (and a few in Culpeper), gift baskets, gift certificates, handmade items, services, and many donated items ranging from an oak rocking chair to a jar of apple butter. There is something for everyone, and the donation for a ticket is only $1. Tickets are sold at establishments throughout the county and by the seniors.
