WCDS dropped a pair of contests to RMA on Dec. 2. The girls lost a 49-46 decision with Paul leading the scoring at 18 points and Hammelman chipping in with'15.
The boys suffered a 73-44 setback with Paul putting up 22 points and Dale adding 20. The duo scored all but two of the Owls total.
The boys’ WCDS basketball team won 6142 on Dec. 6 with Paul scoring 26 to lead the way and Dale chipped in with 20. The boys improved their record to 2-4.

In middle school action the WCDS girls lost to SVC A 31-13 and the boys were beaten 52-22 despite 17 points from Fraser McPherson.
