• Rappahannock County Public Schools will be closed on Thursday, Feb. 3 for parent teacher conferences. • On Monday, Feb. 7 the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors will meet at 7 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Courthouse on Gay Street. • On Tuesday, Feb. 8 there will be a meeting of the Rappahannock School Board at 7:30 p.m. in the Rappahannock County High School band room. This will be an opportunity for members of the public to provide input on the 2005-06 budget. • The Culpeper Minute Men Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, will hold their February 8, 2005, meeting at 1:30 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Library, Washington, Va. The program “A Rappahannock Trial” will be presented by local attorney, Douglas Baumgardner. • On Wednesday, Feb. 9 the Washington Town Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall on Gay Street.
Highlights from the agenda are the Wastewater Update and a progress report on the reservoir by Donald Heart of ESS. • On Feb. 14 the Town of Washington will hold a joint meeting of the Planning Commission and the Town Council at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall to begin the Comprehensive Plan review.
