February is American Heart month. During this month let’s all of us learn more about heart health and ways to reduce risk factors for serious heart condition. By making healthy choices we can live longer and have better lives.

Historical sites in Rappahannock County have been captured in loving color on a beautiful quilt. Photos have been transferred onto eight inch squares combined with patterned squares into a lovely piece of artwork made by Florine Baldwin of Rappahannock.
Wayne Baldwin, Florine’s son, is on the Rappahannock Historical Board, and had asked his mother if she would make the quilt. Mrs. Baldwin said that it took her about one month to complete the quilt which is on display at the Rappahannock Historical
