The Rev. Dr. Sirota has served oh the faculties of Yale Divinity School, Yale Institute of Sacred Music, and Boston University, was Coordinator of the Boston 1990 National Convention of the American Guild of Organists, and consultant for the New York 1996 National AGO Convention. In the past year, she has performed organ concerti by husband Robert Sirota with the Peabody Symphony Orchestra and the Lincoln Symphony Orchestra (Nebraska), and won the 2002 Ecumenical Service Award from the Central Maryland Ecumenical Council and The Newington-Cropsey Foundation Fourth Annual Award for Excellence in the Arts.
Presented with the support of Jacqueline Mars in memory of her mother, the series benefits the church’s music program with an offering (suggested donation, $15). The audience is invited to join the artists at a post-concert reception.
