Marine Cpl. Frank Paratore took time while home on leave to visit the filth grade classrooms at Rappahannock County Elementary School.
As fourth graders, many of the students had written letters to Paratore and his fellow marines. Paratore’s visit answered many of their questions about the war in Iraq according to teacher, Layne Vickers.
Paratore is a 2000 graduate of Rappahannock High School and has served two tours of duty in Iraq and will start a third tour in February.
