Harrison, Sr.

John Thomas Harrison, Sr. of Amissville, died on February 27, at Fauquier Hospital.

He was bom on May 27, 1923 in Fairfax County, Virginia to the late James Hillary and Ruth Harrison.

Mr. Harrison was a member of Amissville United Methodist Church and served in the U.S. Army during WWII.

He is survived by his wife Betty J. Harrison of Viewtown, daughters,. Helen and her late husband Don Berry of Castleton, Martha and her husband George Kidwell of Amissville, Dorothy and her husband Greg Spaid of Winchester, VA and Connie and her husband Mike Thomas of Castleton, sons, Tommy and his wife Sheila Walter of Amissville, Ronnie and his wife Sue Walter of Chester Gap, VA and John T. Jr. and his wife Terri Harrison of Amissville,

Additional survivors include 18 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 2, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton,

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 3, at 2 p.m. at Amissville United Methodist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Amissville United Methodist Church Building Fund P. O. 108 Amissville, VA 20106.
