There’s a lot of folks celebrating a birthday this week just like our very own Bonnie Williams, who was bom on October 24th way back in... nah I love you too much Bonnie. Happy Birthday! Also celebrating are Ruth Frazier on the 25th, J. J. Strobel on the 26th, Rebekah Broome on the 27th, Beth Corathers on the 29th , and Sara Harris on the 31st. Harvest Day Dinner ‘
That’s right the Chester Gap Baptist Church will be having its annual Harvest Day Dinner on the 12th of November. An if all of the wonderful homemade food isn’t enough to lure you in, well then maybe the fact that the one and only Promised Land Quartet will be performing as well. These gentlemen are not only wonderful performers with a great gift for ministry through music, they’re, well, they put on one heck of a show that is defi-. nitely worth seeing any chance you get. They do a fantastic job and never fail to get the congregation going. Also you’ll get to hear a great sermon preached by our new interim pastor David Johnson. Pastor Johnson has a very captivating Scottish accent which I, for one, find to really pull me into the sermons. So I hope you make it a point and mark it on your calendars too, to come on in and enjoy some great preaching, some wonderful singing and some delicious food and fellowship as well.
