of a reflection of the modem age and the products that we use,” , he said about his Styrofoam figure which has a static television ’ for a head. “The Modem age has materials such as plastic and , Styrofoam, that were entirely new substances,” he added.

Henry lives in Washington, Va. and is a junior at Highland School. He commutes to school with his parents, who work in a real estate office in Warrenton. Henry said that the artistic duo Christo and Jeanne-Claude were his inspiration for the project, citing their artwork called, “The Gates.”

“When you are in the exhibit you are basically in a large cardboard box,” Henry said. “In order for us to think differently ., about our surroundings we have ; to open ourselves,” he said.

The opening reception for , Henry’s project will be on , Saturday, January 6, from 3-6 , p.m. at Highland School in Warrenton. The exhibition will be on display through the month of January.
